There is plenty of evidence that BIPOC families are reluctant to go back to unsafe classrooms. And that white parents – anxious for their own kids to go back – are claiming to speak for Black and Brown families. And yes lots of these current proposals have kids going to school from 1:00 to 3:00 or something - and what working parents can take off work twice a day to transport their kids?
